The renal function as follows:
- Disposing of waste products containing nitrogen (urea or uric acid) from the body.
- Disposing of hazardous substances to the body.
- Regulate water and salt balance in the blood.
- Regulate blood pressure in the arteries by removing excess acid or base and remove excess foodstuffs such as sugar and vitamins.
